My name is Tabatha Summers, better known to many as Tabby, Tabs, Stabatha, Stabby, or Ninja.
I'm 23 years old.
I'm a starving English major trying to make my way back into college.
I have delusions of one day being a published author.
I also plan to teach college lit.
And maybe also ESL.
Meanwhile, I teach people to drive forklifts at an Amazon fulfillment center.
I live in the middle of nowhere in Tennessee.
My hair is dark brown naturally, but your guess is as good as mine what color it is now or will be next week.
My eyes are green.
Yes, I am partially Cherokee. No, I don't have that pretty skin color, just the bone structure.
My favorite colors are indigo, black, blue, red, neon green, and teal.
I hate, hate, HATE pink.
I love music, of any and all kinds. Except rap. Talking to a beat does not constitute singing.
I am often accused of being goth.
I am also inherently guilty of being a huge nerd.
I have obsessions with anime, manga, and cosplay.
I make all of my own costumes, and firmly believe that buying your cosplay outfits is cheating. ^_^
I love making props and accessories as much if not more than the costumes themselves!
I trained in isshinryu karate-do for three years, and I have some five-foot-tall tournament trophies to prove it!
I like taking photographs just fine, but my passion is writing and always has been.
I'm debating creating a collection of some of my favorite poetry and publishing it on Amazon just to try to see if anyone is interested in my writing.
I participated in and kicked the bum of NaNoWriMo for the first time ever in November 2012!
I want what I write to make a difference to people on some level.
I have a sweetheart of a fiance that I am very much in love with. <3

I feel like I'm being ripped in every direction by a tornado. I can't do this. I will do it. Nothing will be okay. Everything will be fine. God, I'm going to die. Damn it, I will live. I don't know what's going to happen. All I know is that if I can survive this, I can survive anything. This has been the longest week of my life. But it won't be my last.

Sometimes I wish I could remember how it felt not to know about all the heartbreak in the world. Then I think about it and realize that time never existed for me. From the time I was five years old, I've been dealing with people I love being taken away from me for reasons I couldn't understand and ones I thought loved me fading away. I am the product of a thousand and one things you will never know or begin to understand. I'm stronger than I look, but a lot sadder than you see. So don't judge me when my smile slips because honestly, it's a small wonder I can still smile at all.
